Byron focuses his practice on civil litigation, with an emphasis on personal injury and real estate law. His personal injury practice centers around motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death and catastrophic injury, and insurance dispute with insurance companies. His real estate practice is geared toward commercial and residential litigation, real estate transactions and disputes, landlord-tenant disputes, and construction defect claims.
Prior to joining Martinis & Farley in 2017, Byron enjoyed a successful litigation practice with a well-respected personal injury defense law firm in Salem, Oregon, which focused on defending personal injury actions for large insurance companies. That experience allowed Byron to gain a unique perspective of the tactics and techniques used by the larger automobile insurance companies and their adjusters in defending and denying claims of injured people. Byron uses his knowledge of the insurance industry to aggressively and effectively achieve the best results for his clients.
Byron graduated magna cum laude from the University of Arizona Honors College. He went on to attend Willamette University College of Law, graduating with cum laude honors and earning a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Byron has expertise in cost-effective alternatives to trial, having resolved cases through arbitration, mediation, and settlement conferences. Byron also has extensive litigation and trial experience. Finally, Byron has advocated for his clients in various types of administrative hearings.
